Despite the similarities in the names Petite Sirah and Sirah, they are two very different cultivars. Petite Sirah grapes are smaller and the flavor is of deep, rich and spicy cherries, blackberries and vanilla.
This wine is full-bodied and is known for its intense black pepper, vanilla and caramel flavors. The 2010 L’uva Bella® Petite Syrah received a gold medal and was invited to the state capital to pour wines. It pairs well with grilled meats, pork, beef, lamb, venison and fatty and sharp cheeses.
